Game highlights are not recording

If you are not receieving highlights after game you may try to do the following:

  1. Uninstall Overwolf via control panel and then hit ⊞ Win+R
  2. Type %appdata% and delete the overwolf folder. Please  note that this folder also stores highlights by default.
  3. Check that there are no Mobalytics processes still running. 
  4. Download the latest stable version from Overwolf: https://www.overwolf.com/app/Mobalytics

And then on a fresh install check steps below:

  • Check if League of Legends is enabled in Overwolf settings
  • Check if highlights are enabled in our app's settings

If you are still not receiving highlights please check if you have other overlays or screen recording software enabled such as:

  • Riva Tuner
  • Geforce Experience 
  • Display Fusion
  • MSI Afterburner

If you are using riva tuner please go to it's settings and set detection to none for

  • moba-cap.exe
  • moba-cap64.exe
  • all league and overwolf tasks

 

These apps may interfere with our capture tool so we would suggest you to try disabling them or their overlays/recording capabilities. Also ensure that your video drivers are updated to the latest version.

Also in some cases issue is caused by corrupted League of Legends install so you may try reinstalling it as well

Note that you do not need to add any Dx11betaTest config into game files and don't enable legacy dx support in client as well
